1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the sale of products by MHK Stone (the "Seller") to any individual or entity (the "Buyer"). By placing an order, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. Natural Stone Disclaimer

Natural stone is a product of nature. Therefore, variations in color, pattern, texture, and veining are inherent characteristics and should be expected. The samples provided are indicative only. No two tiles are exactly alike. Small holes, fissures, and mineral streaks are not defects but natural features.

3. Orders and Payment

• Currency: All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• Deposit: A 50% down payment via Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) is required to commence production.
• Balance: The remaining 50% balance must be paid upon completion of production and before the release of original shipping documents (Bill of Lading).
• Letter of Credit: For orders exceeding USD 20,000, Irrevocable L/C at sight may be accepted upon agreement.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Terms: Standard shipping terms are FOB (Free On Board) Jakarta/Semarang/Surabaya. CNF (Cost & Freight) or CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) can be arranged upon request.
• Lead Time: Production time is typically 2-4 weeks per container, subject to order volume and stone availability.
• Insurance: For CIF shipments, marine cargo insurance is included. For FOB/CNF, insurance is the Buyer's responsibility.

5. Claims and Returns

All claims regarding quality or quantity must be made in writing within 7 days of cargo arrival at the destination port. Photos of the damaged goods and crate numbers must be provided.

A breakage tolerance of 3-5% is industry standard for natural stone shipping and should be expected. Claims are only valid for breakage exceeding this percentage.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
